Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) also known as “Tapping” works like emotional acupressure to quickly, gently and easily release the negative emotions and beliefs that are at the root of all our problems and pain.

I like to call it the “out of the box” and “knock your socks off” technique!
Emotional Freedom Technique, which is more commonly referred to as tapping is based on modern psychology and the Chinese discipline of acupuncture. It is also called tapping because a central feature of EFT involves practitioners directing clients to gently tap with their own fingertips on acupuncture points on their face and body.

Acupuncture theory teaches that energy flows through our body through pathways called meridians. Tapping helps people to release the stress and energetic blockages that keep them stuck. So many of your subconscious thoughts are stressors and they are keeping you stuck energetically. Tapping reduces stress diminishes the intensity of past emotional events and experiences and modifies the way the brain processes emotional information. Once you remove the emotional charge from a past event or what we call mini-traumas then you can think more clearly and in essence, respond, not react. It’s like you clear the fog and see the choices you have. And you do this all by guided tapping on you face and body.
Does it sound a little weird? Yes, Well tapping looks weird too but it works.

Most people turn to tapping when they have tried everything else to rid themselves of a self-defeating behaviors or blocks that are keeping them from some goal (the unstuck part I often refer to)
Unwanted behaviors such as,
Stress/anxiety
Pain
Procrastination
Perfectionism
