Integral Yoga Hatha

Integral Yoga Hatha is a comprehensive system for personal transformation that brings every aspect of each individual into a state of harmony.  Balance of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects promote health in all systems of the body.

The practitioner balances effort and surrender in order to achieve the optimal flow of energy.  This will enable the student to achieve greater flexibility, strength, and mental focus.

Students can explore each posture at their own pace, which is why all students are welcome, regardless of age or physical condition.

Classes incorporate physical postures, breathing practices, meditation and deep relaxation which can lead to an experience of peace and well-being, one’s true nature.

Sri Swami Satchidananda, a modern day master of Yoga says it best:

“It is a flexible combination of specific methods designed to develop every aspect of the individual: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.  It is a scientific system which integrates the various branches of Yoga in order to bring about a complete and harmonious development of the individual.”

Integral Yoga is the synthesis of the various branches of Yoga.  It is a scientific system for the harmonious development of every aspect of the individual.

Origins of Integral Yoga

The teachings of Integral Yoga were transmitted to Sri Swami Satchidananda from his guru Sri Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh, India.  Swami Satchidananda brought the teachings to this country in 1966.
